Tech Support
You can access your TC gmail by navigating to gmail.com and then entering your uni@tc.columbia.edu email address to sign in. This will automatically direct you to TC’s Single Sign-On authentication page.
You can reset your password/UNI using the instructions here. If you reset the password and are still unable to log in, you will need to sign up for our new single sign on authentication method, Okta. To activate your Okta account please contact the TCIT Service Desk (servicedesk@tc.columbia.edu or 212-678-3300) and ask that they send you a new Okta login link to your personal email. Then you can follow the directions here.

TC Alumni do not have access to TC Google Drive. Reach out to the TCIT Service Desk (servicedesk@tc.columbia.edu or 212-678-3300) to temporarily restore your access. Then, transfer your documents onto your personal Drive.
You can access both electronic and hard copies of your transcripts through the registrar's office.
Electronic Transcripts
For electronic transcripts, fill out the Transcript Request Form and send it to the Office of the Registrar’s Transcript inbox (transcript-registrar@tc.columbia.edu). In lieu of a mailing address, please provide the recipient’s name and email address, as well as your email address for confirmation. A scanned image of a signed transcript request form must accompany the message. We will not process transcript requests without a student's handwritten signature. Please include your last name in the subject line of your email.
Hard Copy of Transcripts
For hard copies of transcripts, fill out the Transcript Request Form and send it to the Office of the Registrar.

If you graduated in 2019 or later, you can view your electronic diploma here. Learn more about electronic diplomas from the Registrar’s Office here.
You can order a replacement diploma by filling out this form and mailing it back to the registrar’s office. Please note that the form must be notarized by a Notary Public.
Your new diploma:
- Will bear the date of the original diploma but will be signed by the administrators now in office.
- It will bear the name under which your degree was issued. If you would like to change your name on file,
please submit a Change of Name Form along with your diploma replacement form.
- Will be issued in the current format and may not match your original diploma.
The Office of the Registrar will only order a replacement diploma if the original has been damaged, lost or if there has been a change of name. If your original diploma has been damaged, we ask that you return it to the Office of the Registrar where it will be destroyed. Please go to the following link https://commerce.cashnet.com/tcfees to make a payment of 100.00. Also you must submit two forms of identification. Acceptable forms of identification are: passport, birth certificate, driver’s license, or social security card.

Campus Access
Access to TC academic buildings is through the Main Entrance at the Zankel Building at 525 West 120th Street. Valid photo identification must be shown to the public safety officer at the Zankel desk to be issued a visitor pass and gain entry to the academic buildings
- Valid forms of ID; Teachers College ID card
- Valid ID card from affiliated institutions, including; Columbia University (CU), Barnard College, Union Theological, or Jewish Theological seminaries.
- Valid government-issued ID (including city/state ID cards, driver's license, or Passport)
Accessible between 6:45 A.M. to 1:00 A.M. A valid TC ID card is required to access this entrance.

To obtain an alumni ID card, you must visit Card Services on campus.
When you enter Zankel, tell the public safety officer at the front desk that you are there to visit Card Services in Whittier Hall to obtain an alumni ID card. Bring your TC Student ID, if you still have it. They will provide further instructions. Card Services is open Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm.

Card Services will be able to send you a card in mail if you are able to meet the requirements below:
- The photo in the ID card system must be less than 5 years old and your mailing address must match our records in the system as well.
- Any individual requesting for their Alumni card to be mailed must first go into myTC portal and complete the "Mailed ID Request" form in the "Residential and ID Card Services" section. Please keep in mind that we mail cards in the USA only.
- Once all the information is completed, the individual must send us a returned self-addressed stamped envelope. The Alumni card will be enclosed in the returned self-addressed stamped envelope and mailed to their home address in the USA only.

New Alumni/Graduating Students
Graduating students living in TC housing can use their student ID for campus access until move-out. Graduating students who do not live in TC housing will lose access with their student ID after Convocation.
After your degree is conferred, obtain an alumni ID card by visiting Card Services in Whittier Hall. Bring your TC Student ID. They will provide further instructions. Card Services is open Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm.

Canvas courses are automatically set to be available to students for two years after the first day of class. Instructors have the option to close their courses in Canvas at any time without notice. Therefore, we highly recommend that students download and save all work before the course ends.

Zoom access is set to end upon graduation, if you still have access feel free to use your account. However, we highly recommend that students download and save all recordings before access ends.

All Teachers College alumni are members of the Teachers College Alumni Association upon graduation!
TC Alumni can run for the TC Alumni Council after serving as an alumni volunteer on a TC Alumni Association Committee for one year.

Career Support
TC NEXT, TC’s career team, encourages alumni to utilize the Career Resources Portal to view new and trending jobs (updated daily by employers), provide employers with your current resume/CV, register to attend scheduled workshops, events, and career fairs, and network virtually. To post an opportunity on behalf of your employer you can complete the following to create an employer-profile and submit your open position(s) on our online Career Resources Portal:
- Visit the Teachers College Career Resource Portal
- Select Employers
- Click Sign Up (on the right side of the page) to create an Employer Profile
Please note for your Employer Profile to be approved, you must provide an email address, website, and physical address that are valid and associated with your organization. To avoid delay in having a job post approved, please be sure the position description includes, at a minimum, the primary responsibilities of the role and the required qualifications for candidates.

Teachers College Information Technology (TCIT) offers alumni both free and small-fee classes on a wide variety of applications. The TC Computer Center is also available for alumni use; located in 242 Horace Mann, it is accessible to alumni with a TC Alumni Card. Housing
The Office of Residence Services has a limited number of guest rooms in New Residence Hall for short term stays for members and guests of Teachers College and Columbia communities. Faculty, staff, alumni, and parents of students are welcome to reserve rooms.

The Off-Campus Housing Assistance (OCHA) office helps Columbia affiliates search for rental housing in non-Columbia-owned buildings located in the metropolitan area. OCHA provides advice, resources, and an online database of available housing.
OCHA is located at: 419 West 119th Street-Lower Level, on the north side of the street between Amsterdam Avenue and Morningside Drive and open Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
