Entertainingly educational, "In the Wire," a new play about email,
debuts this month as part of the New York International Fringe
Festival. Matthew Peskay, a computer-network analyst at Teachers
College, Columbia University, is the play's director.

The play is a comedy about email, technology and the Internet,
developed by Mr. Peskay; his brother Joshua Putnam Peskay, the
writer; and Jessica Putnam Peskay, an actress in the play who is
married to Joshua Putnam Peskay.

The play explores how email is sent through the Internet by showing
the audience about packets, routers, and the like. The play is
intended to be informational and interesting for the technically and
non-technically proficient alike.

Mathew Peskay describes the play as "really experimental".
