TC on the Move and at Home
The TC Alumni Relations Network continues to grow as Chapters of the Alumni Association or "alumni clubs" are in development in Connecticut, Northern New Jersey, Northern California, Seattle, South Florida, Washington, D.C., and Westchester County. The Metro New York City Alumni Club has also experienced tremendous growth and success with events since it was reborn just a few years ago.
The International Alumni Network, under the leadership of Maryalice Mazzara (Ed.D. 1984), has several volunteers in eight countries and will be starting to hold alumni gatherings this year.
Alumni volunteers are at the heart of these clubs and direct the activities and events. The goals of the alumni clubs are to advance the interests of the College; provide a forum for the continuing professional development and exchange of ideas surrounding education; foster professional and social contacts among alumni; and provide opportunities to perform service in the field of education.
Look for news of fall events held in all of the areas listed above in the next issue of TC Today.
