On behalf of the Trustees of the College, Joseph Brosnan, Vice President of Development and External Affairs, announced the selection of the architectural firm of Shepley, Bulfinch, Richardson, and Abbott for the renovation of Milbank Memorial Library. After a lengthy review process, the Trustees selected Shepley because of their rich history in the design and renovation of academic libraries and because of their insights into the future of libraries at colleges and universities. Their guidance will allow us to retain the traditional strength of the Milbank Library while helping to prepare it to meet the needs of the Teachers College community and the broader community of educators for years to come.
