TUTORS

Students can work one-on-one with a Writing Consultant for help on: reaction papers, research papers, critiques and more. TC student rate of $20/hour payable in blocks of three hours at $60. Non-TC students and adolescents are welcomed and accommodated. To obtain a writing consultant, first register in person at the Writing Center and pay for the first 3 hours of time.

WORKSHOPS

The Center also offers workshops, which include: APA Referencing, Getting Started/Organizing your Paper, Research Papers in the Social Sciences, and more. Workshop participants must pre-register for each workshop at the Center during spring registration hours. TC students pay $35 for a 3 hour workshop, and $70 for a 6-8 hour workshop. The Center is located in the basement of Horace Mann, in room 46, writingskills@tc.columbia.edu.
