A Unique Collaboration

A collaboration exists between the Programs in School Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University and Monsignor Scanlan High School. The relationship, which is in its first year, involves the delivery of counseling and assessment services by second level fieldwork students in the Ed.M and Doctoral Programs in School Psychology.
A collaboration exists between the Programs in School Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University and Monsignor Scanlan High School. The relationship, which is in its first year, involves the delivery of counseling and assessment services by second level fieldwork students in the Ed.M and Doctoral Programs in School Psychology.

Four doctoral candidates will spend two days, each week, at Scanlan. Services will include individual counseling, group counseling, and career counseling. Consultation will also be available to classroom teachers and staff to help with a variety of classroom management and learning issues. Dr. Roseanne Gotterbarn, a doctoral level licensed psychologist/ certified school psychologist, will be on site for five hours each week. She will supervise the four student interns.
