The new TC Math Buddies program pitches to potential recruits during TC's New Student Orientation Week. Much like the TC Reading Buddies, the program engages TC students to work with children at neighborhood schools in exchange for academic credit. But where the Reading Buddies focus on the lowest-performing students in a classroom, the Math buddies will target mathematically inclined students who may not be served by a standard curriculum.
