Susan Fuhrman began her tenure as president of Teachers College with  a luncheon in her honor at Zankel Hall on Thursday, Aug. 3rd. Furhman greeted a crowd large enough to pack the hall, despite the summer heat. The new president, who is a TC alumna, has been quietly meeting with faculty members, community members and others for the past two months, while otherwise absorbing vast amounts of material about the College and its current activities.
