History Instruction Needs to Make the Past Relevant for Students, TC's Gaudelli Says
Commenting on the results of a national history test on which just 45 percent of high school seniors scored "basic" or above in proficiency, the Associate Professor of Social Studies tells U.S. News & World Report that history teachers need to take important contemporary issues, such as health care, and help students understand them historically.
