International Week 2013
OIA helped host the Opening Reception of TC's International Week.
On Monday, April 8, 2013, OIA Executive Director Portia Williams joined
President Fuhrman, Director of Student Services Samantha Lu, and
Executive Director of Admissions Thomas Rock in hosting the Opening
Reception Honoring International Delegates, in support of TC
International Week Celebrating TC 125. The event, attended by diplomatic
representatives of the international student body at Teachers College,
alumni, faculty, and students celebrated the diversity that our
international students bring to the TC community. Said Dr. Williams,
"this is an important event that not only recognizes the support our
students receive from our diplomatic representatives, but it also gives
us an opportunity to connect with our international students and alumni
from around the world."
