Gayle Allen (Ed.D. '08),
Chief Learning Officer & Director of BrightBytes Labs, has 15 years of experience as a teacher, school leader, and entrepreneur in the field of education. She is the founder of two professional development institutes, including the McCord Grauer Center for Excellence in Teaching, and she is the former Associate Head of two independent schools. Brian Perkins (Ed.D. '97), is the Director of the Urban Education Leadership Program in the Department of Organization and Leadership. In the past two years, Perkins has reorganized the UELP under a dynamic new conceptual framework. He directs TC's Superintendent's Work Conference and hosts a monthly radio program: The Perkins Plaform. On April 12, Perkins Platform Presents: 10 Lessons from New York City Schools. You'll have an opportunity to meet the Alumni Council, learn more about the TC Fund and ways to support TC, walk through Macy Gallery and snap a quick picture in our photobooth.

Is your graduation gown - worn proudly for a day - now gathering dust in a closet? Bring it with you to Academic Festival and donate it to a future grad! Participate in the Graduation Gown Lending Program by bringing your gently used TC gown to the Student Development and Activities table.
The program is set up to provide current TC students with a graduation gown to wear during commencement. Bring a snapshot of you in your gown on your graduation day so we can share that with the students!
