A unit of UNICEF Kosovo, the Lab is home to a multidisciplinary team working across sectors and fields to identify methods, partners, technologies, and tools that promise to unlock new uses of information and technology for the advancement of child rights via their technology design and development consultancy, amplify the voice of young rights holders through their youth advocacy platform, and empower marginalized youth to be agents of change and partners in development through its social impact incubator. Harvey, together with coauthors from social innovation labs around the world, haspublished Labcraft: How Labs Cultivate Change through Experimentation and Collaboration.

The full orchestra performed the original version of the "Can-Can" from Orpheus in the Underworld by Jacques Offenbach. | | TC News TC's New Campaign Leaders TC President Susan Fuhrman has announced Trustees Marla Schaefer (M.A. '03) , Leslie Nelson and Bill Rueckert as the new leaders of the College's $300 million campaign, Where the Future Comes First: The Campaign for Teachers College. The new campaign leaders approach their new jobs with a wide range of experience in business, education, and private foundations. But they are united in their passion to advance TC's positive impact and influence around the world by supporting the critical work being done every day by faculty and students. Read More... JPMorgan Chase's REACH TC's 125th anniversary Gala celebration was the official coming out party for REACH (Raising Educational Achievement Coalition of Harlem) -- the new name for the College's partnership with a group of local pre-K-'"12 Harlem public schools. REACH, (supported partly by a $1 million grant from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation) developed and administered by TC's Office of School and Community Partnerships, aims to improve educational outcomes in high-need public schools and to demonstrate how universities can partner with schools in distressed communities to provide improved instruction, expanded learning opportunities for students, promote students' health and well-being, and family support. Starting on September 1, JPMorgan Chase ATM machines in New York City will proclaim "JPMorgan Chase proudly supports Teachers College with $1 million for REACH: Raising Educational Achievement Coalition of Harlem, and a shared commitment to a bright future for NYC children." Global Competence Certificate: Applications Due August 15 The Global Competence Certificate (GCC) is the first of its kind graduate level certificate program in global competence education for teachers.
