P.S. 71 Using "Seed to Plate" Lessons Developed With Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education and Policy

 

In a June 23, 2016, story in the Bronx Times features a "health-conscious" fifth-grade curriculum in use at P.S. 71 in the Bronx. Developed in collaboration with TC's Laurie M. Tisch Center for Food, Education and Policy, the program is part of GrowNYC’s Greenmarket Youth Education’s ‘Seed to Plate’ curriculum, which consists of lessons regarding on agriculture, farmers markets, cooking and nutrition. It is being implemented in the Bronx, with P.S. 71 and P.S. 97 leading the way.
