Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce that Robyn Davis will be joining the Human Resources team as Assistant Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer effective March 1, 2022. In this role, Robyn will oversee a talented group of HR professionals and serve as an advisor to myself and the College's executive team. She will also provide strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources services and build partnerships across the academic and administrative units in support of the College’s strategic priorities.

Robyn’s experience spans for-profit, nonprofit and public sector organizations, including Northwell Health, Pfizer, Chevron and Xerox. Most recently, she led the Talent and Organization Capability Division of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, where she oversaw talent management, employee recognition programs, and learning and leadership development programs. She also served as a member of the agency’s Ethics Board.

In recent years, Teachers College Human Resources has embarked on a transformation effort that continues to reshape and improve HR service delivery, effectiveness and efficiency. Robyn will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of HR policies, practices and technologies to enhance customer service, support employee engagement and build a diverse workforce, among other goals. She will also oversee comprehensive employee services and programs that foster a productive, diverse and inclusive environment with an emphasis on career development.

I am confident that Robyn’s expertise in human capital strategy, organizational culture, people operations and change management will make her a valuable asset to our team.
