Dear Members of the TC Community,

We hope you are feeling rested and restored after the winter break! As previously communicated, we are asking everyone to work and study remotely this month, with some exceptions detailed here. Staff should plan to return to work on campus, as needed, during the week of January 24 to prepare for in-person operations (please speak to your supervisor if you have questions about your return date). In-person classes/instruction and hybrid work schedules will resume on January 31. Before then, please remember to schedule appointments for these three campus access requirements:

  1. New PCR test
Use this form to submit a new COVID-19 PCR test result by January 18. Your test must be administered after January 3 (tests from earlier dates will not be accepted) and you should submit results whether they are negative or positive. If you do not meet this deadline, your campus access will be restricted. Employees are eligible for one hour of paid time off to receive a PCR test or booster shot during the work day. If you need additional time, please speak with your supervisor.
  2. Booster shot
TC’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement will be expanded to include booster shots. If you are eligible for a booster shot and have not yet obtained one, please schedule an appointment for one as soon as possible. In an upcoming email, we will provide more details about how to submit your booster shot documentation, including a deadline. Find more information about booster shot eligibility on the CDC website.
  3. Flu vaccine
Students are required to upload their flu vaccine documentation via the myTC Portal by January 10. If you do not submit documentation or have not received an approved exemption, your campus access will be restricted. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to get a flu vaccine.

With these measures in place, we are confident that we may safely continue in-person operations upon our return. We will keep you apprised of any changes to campus protocols, and we look forward to seeing you in-person again soon!

Sincerely,
