Movement Science and Education

A Graduate School of Education, Health & Psychology

Welcome to the Movement Science & Education program

The Movement Science & Education program approaches the study of movement from a multi-disciplinary perspective. Our focus is on the practical applications of science and theory in the laboratory, clinic, school and community and our students gain hands-on experience putting research into practice. Coursework emphasizes the scientific and theoretical core of physiology, behavioral science, neural bases of movement control, and pedagogy. We have long been a pioneer in the field of movement science and our doctoral programs are among the best in the nation.
