Research Discipline/Bio
Ali's primary focus lies in clio- and legal-epidemiology, in other words, how history and law impact public health initiatives. Her academic research spans health education, public health law, neurohumanities, arts in health, and gender health equity. She is open to collaborating with other academics and artists in interdisciplinary projects that improve the well-being of communities.
Educational Background
Ali earned a B.S. in Public Health with minors in Integrative Holistic Health & Wellness and Health Informatics & Information Management at Western Michigan University’s College of Health and Human Services & Lee Honors College. She received both a M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Advanced Certificate in Public Health Nutrition from New York University School of Global Public Health.
