Research Discipline/Bio
I am currently a Ph.D. student in Behavioral Nutrition at Teachers College, Columbia University. My research focuses on dietary patterns, food access, and cardiometabolic health among overweight and obese Hispanic/Latino adults in New York City. I have contributed to multiple research projects on food insecurity, diabetes education, and gluten studies as a Graduate Research Assistant. Professionally, I have worked as a Registered Dietitian at Caipa MSO LLC, providing culturally tailored nutrition care for Asian American patients with chronic diseases. In addition, I have gained valuable clinical and research experience at Mount Sinai, SUNY Downstate, and Savor Health, working with diverse patient populations in both hospital and outpatient settings.
