History & Education

A Graduate School of Education, Health & Psychology

Welcome to the History & Education program

The History and Education graduate program, explores broad questions in education by looking at them through a historical lens. Through this academically rigorous graduate degree, you’ll be stretched intellectually as you pursue answers to the questions most important to you. While the largest graduate program of its type in the country, the TC History and Education program is small enough to ensure you receive the guidance and mentoring you need. When you pursue your degree at TC, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic community of learners from all over the world who are diverse in both their research and their backgrounds. You’ll engage in lively discussions and cutting-edge research, with an eye on history. Your graduate studies at TC will prepare you to advance your career as a historian and lead, whether that’s in higher education, government, nonprofits, social service agencies, or any number of other settings.
