Dr. Karen Reznik Dolins has been an adjunct professor at Teachers College since 1998.nShe developed the advanced sports nutrition course and created the Sports Nutrition Practicum for students in the Nutrition and Exercise Physiology specialization. She also developed and teaches Sports Nutrition for non-majors and the on-line Introduction to Nutrition course.

In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Dolins maintains a private practice where she helps individuals and groups achieve their nutrition goals. Specializing in sports nutrition and weight management, she works with adults, teens and children. She is nutrition consultant to the Promesa Head Start program in the Bronx. As a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition, Dr. Dolins helps athletes from pros to recreational, Masters level to grade school, improve athletic performance through science-based nutrition practices. She was the Sports Nutritionist for the NY Knicks for 10 years and Sports Nutritionist for Columbia University Intercollegiate Athletics for 2 years. She has provided workshops for the Women’s NBA, NBA Player's Association and Cirque du Soleil as well as numerous coaches’ clinics. Merrill Lynch, AT&T, Pepsico, PaineWebber, IBM and Columbia University are among the clients who have benefited from her corporate wellness programs.

Dr. Dolins currently serves as Membership Director of the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Dietetic Practice Group (SCAN) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) and is a past Chairperson of the organization. She also is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and serves on various committees linking the professions of nutrition and physical activity. She recently co-authored 2 papers and presented data at the Academy’s Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo on the topic of collaboration between nutrition and exercise professionals.
