New Acquisitions: Curriculum & Teaching / Kinesiology
Part One, CCDA 2025-2026

The Gottesman Libraries was pleased to have received an award of $10,975 from New York State for academic year 2025-2026, allowing us to participate in the Coordinated Collection Development Aid (CCDA) program for academic libraries at public and not-for-profit colleges.
So far we purchased 46 new books in the fields of curriculum and teaching, and kinesiology, to strengthen programs of study and research at Teachers College, Columbia University and enhance access for eligible members of the Metropolitan New York Library Council.
Listed here are the titles recently acquired, with thanks to New York State, New York Metropolitan Library Council, and our Library Assistant Tresha Antoine. New books were identified using advanced searching in an automated collection management tool; checked against existing holdings at Gottesman and Columbia University Libraries; and ordered and processed by Tresha Antoine, Library Assistant for Monograph Acquisitions.
