Clinical Experiences
TC students in the School Psychology Program engage in clinical practice in a variety of settings, including at the Dean Hope Center for Educational & Psychological Services (DHCEPS), TC partner schools, and at medical settings (Ph.D. level) throughout the greater New York City area.
The clinical training for the Teachers College School Psychology Program includes, but is not limited to, experiences in psycho-educational assessment, school consultation, cognitive behavioral interventions, supportive individual, family, and group counseling, in-service presentations, and continuing education activities. The clinical experiences may encompass direct and indirect service delivery as well as research and evaluation.
Throughout all experiences, TC students address the needs of diverse children, youth and families.
