Why the Year-End Review Matters

The ACE Performance Management process emphasizes continuous learning and adaptation. The Year-End Review is a structured conversation to:
- Reflect on your progress toward SMARTER goals.
- Align your contributions with shifting departmental needs and TC priorities.
- Excel by identifying future development opportunities.

Preparing for Your Year-End Review

To make the most of this process:

Before the Meeting:
- Review your goals, work samples, and feedback received throughout the year.
- Complete your self-assessment, focusing on achievements and strengths, and identifying areas of opportunity.
- Schedule a meeting with your manager, allowing sufficient time for preparation.

During the Meeting:
- Engage in open, constructive dialogue.
- Discuss your self-assessment and receive feedback.
- Explore development opportunities and set goals for the upcoming cycle.

After the Meeting:
- Your manager will finalize the performance category in the ACE system.
- Review the summary to ensure it accurately reflects the discussion.
- If needed, reach out to your HR Business Partner for further conversation.
