Missing student
Teachers College is committed to creating and preserving a safe and secure environment for its students. In order to support this commitment, TC has set forth rules and procedures to be followed in the event that a student of the college, residing in on-campus housing, is reported to be missing, as well as has established a Missing Student Notification Policy.
Federal law requires Teachers College to establish these procedures for use if a student who resides in campus housing is believed to be missing. Any member of the community who believes that a student has been missing for 24 hours is urged to contact Public Safety immediately so the Office may investigate the apparent disappearance. To report a missing student please call the Office of Public Safety (OPS) at (212) 678-3333.
