BERC Black Studies Curriculum Pilot

The Black Education Research Center (BERC) at Teachers College, Columbia University, conducts and analyzes research focused on improving the educational experiences and outcomes of students of African descent in the U.S. and throughout the world. They strive to serve as a useful resource for university-based researchers, PK-12 and higher education practitioners, policymakers, and research and policy analysts interested in learning more about Black education, the problem of racial inequality in schools and society, and what can be done to ensure every learner can realize their full human potential.
