Students will be taught the art of conveying their challenges related to academics, peer relationships, family, or other life scenarios, and leveraging these experiences positively. Under the mentorship of EPIC researchers, students will create a multimedia narrative struggle story, and discover their new and great potential in turning their struggles into successes.

In this workshop, participants train in the processes of both identifying and reporting suspected child abuse and maltreatment. This is a single session, two-hour workshop that satisfies this particular requirement for New York State teacher certification.

In this single session, two-hour workshop, participants will receive training in the prevention and intervention of school violence. This workshop satisfies the School Violence and Intervention requirements for New York State teacher certification.

The Summer Institute in Global Mental Health is an immersion training program for mental health, health, and allied professionals working with populations that have endured severe adversities and trauma, such as domestic and political violence, extreme poverty, armed conflict, epidemics, and natural disasters.

Counselors are vital to a student’s academic success because they demystify the college admissions process. TC CAP-online seeks to provide targeted curriculum on college advising, improve professional competence, and increase college opportunities for underserved high school students.

Reimagining Education: Teaching, Learning and Leading Summer Institute, lovingly known as “RESI” draws thousands of educators from across the country and globe and provides them with the resources and pedagogical strategies to take back to their classroom, schools, and communities to have a positive impact on all their students.

This program is designed to train language professionals to develop, manage, and evaluate language programs. The four online courses introduce aspects of curriculum development, program evaluation and assessment, administration and operations, as well as teacher development and supervision.

This four-module online professional development prepares K-8 teachers to cultivate their students’ digital literacies and 21st century skills.
