Teachers College is committed to providing educational and professional opportunities for all individuals and assisting them in making their experience at Teachers College successful and positive. The Office of Access and Services for Individuals with Disabilities (OASID) works with all academic departments, faculty members, and administrative offices in an attempt to ensure that individuals with disabilities can participate fully and equally in the Teachers College community.

1. Creative Spirit offers custom job consultations for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as an application process for a variety of open positions.
   
2. Integrate supports “skilled autistic professionals in reaching their potential” through access to inclusive hiring programs, help navigating the interview process, on-boarding support and follow-up, opportunities for mentorship and networking programs. 
   
   
3. Disability Equality Index: the most comprehensive benchmarking tool for disability inclusion. 
   
   
4. Job Accommodation Network (JAN): “JAN assists individuals with medical conditions and disabilities, their advocates, and family members by providing information about job accommodation solutions and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Resources include information about ADA general rights, how to disclose a disability and request and negotiate accommodations at work, accommodation solutions, and what to do if you believe your ADA rights are being violated.
   
   
5. AAPD aims to increase the political and economic power of people with disabilities. Join us as a convener, connector, and catalyst for change – your support helps increase the political and economic power of people with disabilities. AAPD offers internships, fellowships, events and mentoring programming.

4. Entry Point!, a signature program of the AAAS Project on Science, Technology and Disability, is a national effort to discover and develop talent among undergraduate and graduate students with disabilities who demonstrated a talent and interest in pursuing a STEM career. The primary goal of the project is to increase the diversity of the scientific and engineering workforce at the professional level. Entry Point! recruits, screens, and refers qualified candidates to company and university research program partners for 10-week summer internships.
