Cowin Career Closet

The primary goal of TC NEXT,  the College’s career services support office, is to ensure that students have access to the resources necessary for them to excel in professional development and career advancement. Achieving this goal requires the recognition that the Teachers College community includes a diverse range of students demonstrating different levels of financial need. In response to the barriers students are facing and to minimize inequities, the College endeavors to launch the first-of-its-kind professional wardrobe closet, aptly named the Cowin Career Closet

Students will have access to business attire and accessories to dress their best for interviews, professional networking, and workplace settings. Students pay no fees and they keep the clothes. There’s no need to return the clothes and/or pay for exorbitant dry-cleaning bills. Students will select from an array of clothing options, such as slacks, blouses, blazers, skirts, and dresses in inclusive sizes, and accessories, such as ties, belts, and briefcases.
