How to Apply for Financial Aid

Apply for Federal Aid
U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens may qualify for federal financial aid at Teachers College. Federal aid may include Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans, Federal Work-Study, and other federal aid programs for which you may be eligible.
To be considered for federal financial aid, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for each academic year in which you plan to enroll. When completing the FAFSA, be sure to include the Teachers College federal school code: G03979.
We encourage students to submit the FAFSA as early as possible to maximize eligibility for limited funding opportunities.
After submitting your FAFSA, review your financial aid offer carefully and complete any additional requirements that may appear in your student portal.
