During the summer of 2026, the Digital Futures Institute hosted  3 summer Climate Data Science Communications fellows working with the Learning the Earth with Artificial Intelligence and Physics (LEAP) Center, and NSF Science & Technology Center launched in 2021.

Over the course of 10 weeks, fellows worked with OreOluwa Badaki and Charles Lang, and learned from members of the DFI Media and Communications teams, to collaboratively produce  a suite of resources unpacking some of the work being done by LEAP Scientists.
