MASCLab

The Media and Social Change Lab (MASCLab) at Teachers College creates, curates, and supports multimodal and digital scholarship exploring the relationship between media and social change. Our research examines how media and society shape each other, develops multimedia research methods, and builds pedagogy that uses media to foster civic engagement.

Housed in the Technology, Media, and Learning program at Teachers College, Columbia University, MASCLab hosts events, supports collaborative projects, publishes in academic and public venues, and provides support for relevant courses.
