Congratulations Class of 2026
Grateful for the journey, the growth, and the community that made it all possible. Thank you to my professors, mentors, and peers for your support and inspiration!
I am incredibly grateful for my time as a Robotics and Creative Technology Classroom Assistant at Teachers College Community School, as well as my student teaching experience in Earth Science.
My two years at MST have been really transformative — A rare gift of space to wander, question, and find what truly belongs to me.
I leave with deep gratitude: for an incredible group of friends, for the conversations that taught me how to better connect, and for the moments in class when the humanities reminded me how tenderly, and how stubbornly, they hold the world together.
My time in the Instructional Technology and Media program at TC has been a meaningful and precious journey of growth and learning. I hope to build on everything I have learned here and contribute to creating a more meaningful, inclusive, and hopeful future through education. I am deeply grateful to the many people who supported me in completing this journey, especially my professors, friends, family, and my husband.
I am deeply grateful for my journey in the MST program. I am grateful for the friendships I have built in the Educational Technology Specialist program. Learning alongside such passionate, supportive, and inspiring peers has made this journey truly meaningful. I am also thankful for the guidance and encouragement from our professors, whose support has shaped both my thinking and practice. Wishing everyone continued success and inspiration as we move forward and make a difference in the world of education.
MST and TML have been more than I expected — not just about building edtech, but about truly understanding what learning is. The experiences, reflections, and people here have shaped how I think and who I am. During this journey, I've had the chance to learn, grow, and dream in ways I never expected. Thank you to everyone who has been part of it. I'll carry this community and everything it has given me into whatever comes next. 🎓
Dissertation Title: Transitions: Voices of Six EdD Graduates Reflecting on Their Doctoral Journeys
I will carry my time at Teachers College with me for the rest of my life. Deep gratitude to all of the professors, peers, friends, and family who supported me and walked with me throughout this meaningful seven-year journey. And congratulations to my fellow graduates!
I have been so blessed with incredible mentorship in the Science Education program from our outstanding faculty and students. When I started at Teachers College, I knew a lot about insects and plants, but not too much about people. Our department faculty helped me bridge my knowledge in ecology to science education, inspired my understanding of what it means to be a scientist, and taught me how to build community around this work. A special thank you to my advisors, Dr. Ann Rivet and Dr. Felicia Mensah, who were instrumental in helping me cross the finish line. To all my friends in MST, thank you for learning with me, spending your weekends writing with me, and being a support system throughout this process.
Thank you to everyone in the Mathematics Program, especially my wonderful advisor, Dr. Irina Lyublinskaya. It has been a wonderful experience.
Dissertation Title: Professional Learning Communities in Non-Public Tri-State Area Schools: A Mixed Methods Investigation
This EdD journey taught me to follow the data, not my expectations, and to listen before I theorize. Thank you to Professor Meier and my committee for holding me to a higher standard than I knew I could reach, and to the teachers across my sample schools who trusted me with their stories. What changed me most wasn't what I found, but who I became in the process of finding it. Proud to be part of the MST family.
During my time at TC, I have gone through many changes in life and in the way I see myself and the world. Through it all, the TC community has felt like a shelter to me. The people here, the energy, and the sense of openness and inclusion have brought me peace and given me the courage to embrace change. I am deeply grateful for it all.
Dissertation Title: Multithreaded Learning: Informal Environments for Interdisciplinary Computer Science Practice
Thank you to everyone who supported me in my time at TC! I've had a long journey with plenty of bumps, but it was because of the support of all the students and faculty I've met over the years that I've made it here. I look forward to using everything I've learned from this school and its people in my future endeavors.
