Quality Universally Inclusive Early Responsive Education (QUIERE)

QUIERE Scholars

Teachers funded through QUIERE will 

  • complete a 48-credit dual certification Masters of Arts (MA) degree at Teachers College, Columbia University--about half of the degree will be funded by QUIERE (23 out of 48 credits);
  • be eligible for New York initial certification in early childhood education and early childhood special education;
  • teach in collaborative and inclusive settings as a general or special education teacher;
  • teach 2 years in inclusive pre-k, inclusive kindergarten, early intervention programs, or preschool special education for each year of QUIERE funding.
